Money @ Work Workshop

Programme Overview:

The workplace consists of three generations working together - 20s to early 30s, 30s to early 40s, and 40s to 50s - all with different financial needs such as limited income, mortgage payments, and health care expenses. Experts say that EPF savings alone are not enough for retirement. But how do you save more money for the future while managing today's expenses? This programme will provide you with free, unbiased financial planning guidance to answer that question.

The Objective:
This money management programme aims to increase sophistication in managing savings and develop capability in investing.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
  • Know how much money you need for your retirement
  • Determine financial needs at every life stage
  • Identify S.M.A.R.T. goals
    Create a personal budget
  • Identify suitable investment products that match your risk tolerance
  • Create an investment portfolio that matches your risk tolerance

9.00 am Your Financial Plan: Where It All Begins
This session will examine the concepts of sound money management, from the importance of saving to the setting of SMART financial goals. All these in order to turn your dreams into reality.
10.00 am Break
10.15 am Creating A Personal Budget
This session will assist you in learning smart spending habits, determining financial needs at every stage of life, and creating a personal budget for yourself.
11.15 am Creating an Investment Portfolio
This session will identify suitable investment products to help you create an investment portfolio that matches your risk tolerance and stage of life. This includes choosing between “tortoise-like” or “hare in a hurry” investment strategies.
12.00 pm Q & A Session
